Ken Crampton, Eyeclopes Studios / Everybody Drum has moved to 620 Charlotte Street, after being on Caroline Street for 16 years, we have purchaced our own building and migrated to Fairview Heights. Only five blocks from our old location, we have upgraded the Drum Shop, Performance space, Recording Studio, and Fun!

Fairview Heights is the neighborhood that the old Fredericksburg Fairgrounds once stood, historic land that civil war soldiers camped on before battle. The building was built in the 50's by White and Weeks, which was also in the same building I use to occupy. It has been a HVAC shop, a guitar shop, and studio space for many local bands. When purchaced, we gutted, and rebuilt the whole interior, rewiring, insulating, and rebuilding everything!

We are currently available for Drum Circles, Drum Lessons (Djembe, Ashiko, Bougarabou, Conga), Art Instruction (Drawing, Color Theory, Portfolio Building), Graphic Design, Facilitation (through art and or rhythm), Community Networking, Parties, Recording Studio, and Charities.

Ken Crampton

Ken Crampton, artist, musician, and community facilitator. I own and run an art business and hand drum / percussion shop called Eyeclopes Studios / Everybody Drum. In the shop, we do graphic design, fine art, performance based shows, and have a recording facility. The space is also utilized for community events and fun- raisers. Patrons vary in age, gender, and ethnic decent.

I also hold a regular drum circle once a week (Fri. 7:00-9:00 pm), and work with various populations in school systems, foster care, juvenile detention centers, well elder care, festivals, parties, and child help situations. Everybody Drum is a program that teaches about percussive instruments, their voice, and their unique inter-dependent relationships as a metaphor for community. Either working alone or co-facilitating an event the main emphasis is FUN ! We aim to fan the fire of creativity while inspiring Self Recognition and Constructive CommUnity . .
